It's always a pleasure to be asked to make a new pattern for Kauniste in Helsinki. For my latest design I returned to a Scandinavian feel and created a collection of wooden houses and trees that I then assembled into a "village". I really love the old fashioned boxy and utilitarian architecture you find all over Norway!
Bjorn Rune Lie
Bjørn Rune Lie is a Norwegian illustrator who lives in Bristol (UK) with his wife Lindsey, his son Jude and his pesky cat Margot. He shares a studio with his good friend Jon McNaught.
