Arthur Arbesser establishes his personal style, sophisticated but at the same time full of energy: enhanced by outstanding tailoring and finest quality fabrics, his silhouettes radiate a pure, yet sensual appeal of modernity.
Born and raised in Vienna, Arbesser was deeply immersed in the city’s history and culture as he grew up. The streamlined turn-of-the-century architecture as well as the evocative heritage of applied arts and design remain a strong source of inspiration for the designer today.
At Central Saint Martins College for Art and Design in London, he quickly developed his personal aesthetics, influenced by his intimate contact with London’s prolific art scene. Upon graduation he moved to Milan, where he designed for one of Italy’s most prestigious fashion houses for the next few years.
Arthur Arbesser launched his eponymous women’s wear label in February 2013 during Milan’s Fashion week. His collection made its debut in a carefully curated presentation of fashion and design in the Milanese intimacy of a friend’s apartment. Taking their lead from the most influential voices of fashion, the international press quickly discovered the young talent.
At the second edition of the LVMH prize in 2015, Arthur Arbesser was one of the finalists and in June of the same year, he was invited to participate at the prestigious PITTI Immagine Fair in Florence as a women’s wear guest designer. Recently appointed as Creative Director of Iceberg, Arbesser is today internationally known as one of the most promising new designers.
After studying at the prestigious Central Saint Martins College, Arthur Arbesser relocated to Milan to refine his personal aesthetic while working for a renowned fashion house. With a string of awards now under his belt, including Vogue Italia's "Who Is On Next," he's one of the most promising designers around and his innovation reflects in his throws collection, exclusively for Hem.
