Textile designer Eini Knuutinen is studying in the master's programme Fashion and Collection Design at Aalto University, Helsinki. Fascinated with creating visual surfaces, she likes to experiment with traditional materials and illustrations to make something new out of them. The FISUT pattern was created when she started to reminisce about happy childhood summers by the lake with her grandparents. Small fish would often be threatened by bigger ones, but together they were strong!
