Manel Jiménez Ibáñez and Violeta Alcaide Weishaupt studied architecture at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. They both undertook one year of their studies at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, so their professional careers have been based in both Spain and Switzerland, working in a number of studios in the two countries. Although their main activity takes place within the field of architecture, they have also worked at the same time on design projects connected with a particular material, a certain shape or a specific need.
