Północna przyroda i nasze środowisko są bardzo cenne dla Lapuan Kankurit, dlatego też bierzemy udział w zbiórce funduszy dla Fińskiego Stowarzyszenia Ochrony Przyrody Suomen luonnonsuojeluliitto na ochronę foki obrączkowanej Saimaa, zagrożonej foki żyjącej w jeziorze Saimaa w Finlandii.
Foka obrączkowana Saimaa jest jedną z najbardziej zagrożonych fok na świecie. Foka obrączkowana Saimaa żyje tylko w jeziorze Saimaa w Finlandii. Działając teraz, nadal możemy uratować naszą życzliwą fokę!
Populacja nerpy z Saimaa liczy tylko około 410 osobników. Dzięki wieloletnim pracom konserwatorskim i badawczym populacja powoli rośnie od połowy lat 80. XX wieku, kiedy to szacuje się, że liczyło tylko 120–150 osobników nerpy. Lapuan Kankurit uczestniczy we wspieraniu prac konserwatorskich nerpy z gatunku Saimaa.

Northern nature and our environment are precious for Lapuan Kankurit and therefore we are now participating in fundraising for the Finnish association for nature conservation, Suomen luonnonsuojeluliitto to protect The Saimaa Ringed Seal, an endangered seal living in Lake Saimaa, Finland. Saimaannorppa, the Finnish version of "leopard pattern",  is designed by Kaarina Tiainen and the series include sauna textiles, such as seat covers, sauna pillows and washed linen towels as well as wool blankets and hot water bottles. Psst! The print in each hot water bottle is slightly different, just like each Saimaa Ringed Seal.

Made out of 100% Masters of Linen long staple linen yarn, grown and spun in Europe according Öko-Tex standard. Yarns are dyed in Europe, mainly in Finland. Product development and design, material purchasing, bindings of the fabric and programming of the jacquard machine is done in own weaving mill in Finland. Warping, preparing, weaving, finishing, drying and fabric inspection is done in own weaving mill in Finland. Sewing in own daughter sewing company in Lithuania, in own weaving mill in Finland and in subsidiaries located nearby in Finland. Accessories come from Europe, mainly from Finland. Main part of production is made in Finland. Country of origin is Finland.
