HETA scarf is a result of collaboration between Aalto University and Lapuan Kankurit. The inspiration arose from a specific bright red linen yarn and the design of the scarf highlights it’s character and vivid colour. In the finished product, the stiff linen yarn has enough room to curl into subtle waves, bound inside two layers of soft wool. The colours and soft construction signify longing and nostalgia: a feeling of letting go of something important that’s at the same time sad and beautiful.
