60% bio-organic cotton and 40% European Masters of linen -linen.
Made out of Masters of Linen long staple linen yarn, grown and spun in Europe and out of bio organic cotton spun in Europe according Öko-Tex standard. Yarns are dyed in Europe, mainly in Finland nearby the weaving mill. Product development and design, material purchasing, bindings of the fabric and programming of the jacquard machine is done in own weaving mill in Finland. Warping, preparing, weaving, finishing, drying and fabric inspection is done in own weaving mill in Finland. Sewing in own daughter sewing company in Lithuania or in subsidiaries located nearby the weaving mill in Finland. Accessories come from Europe, mainly from Finland. Main part of production is made in Finland. Country of origin is Finland.

Educated at the University for the Industrial Arts, Marja Rautiainen is one of the secrets to success at Lapuan Kankurit. She represents a new, open-minded generation of designers whose goal is to create linens that meet the needs of today’s consumers. Marja Rautiainen’s work reflects her strong professional skills and her passion for Finnish textile traditions. Marja’s designs Mustikka and Mansikka, Metsäpolku, Ruusunen, Koivu and Motti have had a lasting impact on Finnish textile design.
